Love is...
You can experience God’s love today!
No matter who you are, where you are from or what you have
done, you CAN experience God’s love today. In fact, He is
extending His love to you now. The Bible says (Romans 5:8),
‘… God demonstrates his own love
for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for
us.’ Yes, God loves you and you can come to Him
to experience His love through His Son, Jesus. The Bible
teaches that there is only one way to Heaven. In John 14:6,
Jesus said: ‘I am the way and the
truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me.’
Because of what Jesus did on the cross for us, we can
experience God’s love, forgiveness, cleansing and salvation.
This is not because of anything you have or have not done. It
is a free gift through Christ alone! The Scriptures say in
Ephesians 2:8-9, ‘For it is by
grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no
one can boast.’
Trust Jesus Christ today! Here's what you must do:
1. Admit you are a sinner.
“For all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
2. Be willing to turn away from sin (repent).
Jesus said:
“I tell you, no! But
unless you repent, you too will all perish." (Luke
13:5)
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was
buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
4. Through
prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal
Saviour.
“That if you confess with your mouth,
‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10: 9,10)
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
What to pray:
Dear God, I am a sinner and need your love and forgiveness. I believe that Jesus
Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from
sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.
